Life in the Haverford Community
The boys are the soul and stewards of the School Matt Green, Upper School Head
The thing we hear most often from people who come visit is "Wow, there's so much going on here!" Our students are very active and involved, which energizes the faculty and staff, and makes The Haverford School an exciting place in which to learn, teach, play, and work.
Students are encouraged to follow their passions and invest time in their community. Academics are at the core of the Haverford education, but there's also a diverse array of enriching extracurriculars that all students are encouraged to seek out.
Haverford prides itself on being a place where young men are supported and encouraged to try new things and be well-rounded, from track and field to ceramics, from robotics to the Pegasus literary magazine. We want our students to appreciate how big the world really is, and the great many opportunities it offers.
