Mahjong comes to Haverford!
Want to learn how to play? Now is the time!
WHO: Haverford parents and guardians—each class will be limited to 12 players on a first come first serve basis
WHAT: Lessons in Mahjong! The goal is to learn the basics now so that, after
the new year, we can start a monthly game
WHEN: Lessons will be given from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on 11/4, 11/11, 12/2 and
12/9 in the lobby of Centennial Hall. It's best to come to at least 3 classes to
have a good understanding of the game.
WHY: It’s an incredibly fun game and a great way to connect with fellow
parents and guardians!

The HSPA needs to have at least 6 people per session to hold
the class and facilitate games.
Fees: Lessons are $15 a person per lesson and each person needs a
mahjong card in order to play, which the teacher can purchase for $10.
Payment is made directly to the instructor on lesson day (Venmo
accepted). Cards are valid for 1 year.
