Preparing Boys for Life
Faces of Haverford

We are poets and scholars, thinkers and doers, aspiring athletes and stage performers. The thread that binds the patchwork of The Haverford School is our commitment to each other, our School, and our communities.

In Faces of Haverford, a sliver of our community shares what makes their Haverford School experience truly transformational.

Fisher, fourth grade

In second grade, you get your pre-kindergarten buddy, and that’s really cool. I like it because I get to be their mentor, and it’s fun to have a little kid doing projects with me.

Nasir, 12th grade

The words that are on the Walk of Virtues, they’ve become a part of me. They’re in me … I am courageous, I am honest … and all of those are aspects of a man.

Mr. Keefe, Upper School English

We know boys in a very special and unique way at a pivotal time in their life.

Sam, eighth grade

Like our slogan says, preparing boys for life … they prepare you for anything to come. That’s going to help me, and anybody else, pursue their dreams, do whatever they want to do, find out what they love, and just go for it.

Pearse, 10th grade

It was a euphoric feeling, seeing my friends and other students, whether they were in Upper School or Middle School or Lower School, coming to support me and my other colleagues in the show. To be part of Haverford is to be part of this brotherhood that everybody loves.
