Varsity Soccer
Overview
The Haverford School's varsity soccer program has won four conference titles, three PAISAA State Championships, and four national rankings since 2011. In 2014, the team finished #10 in the nation. Numerous players have received all-conference, all-state, and all-region status, highlighted by back-to-back Gatorade Players of the year in 2011 and 2012. The 2014 team also won the NSCAA Ethics Award.
Team News
After months on Zoom, area children are getting the chance to get out in the fresh air and fields of Wallingford to enjoy "Soccer Saturday." Volunteer coaches from the Union, Haverford School and Strath Haven High School have been assisting.
Haverford School's Kieran Bradley is Main Line Boys Athlete of the Week. The senior defensive center back and co-captain is spearheading a Fords’ defense this fall that gave up the fewest goals in the Inter-Ac last year. Read the story >
More than two dozen Haverford School students will continue their athletic careers at their respective colleges and universities. Director of Athletics Michael Murphy hosted a virtual celebration to honor the boys’ commitment to their athletic careers and wish them well as they transition to their respective colleges and universities this fall.

Haverford Play Day: 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. @ The Haverford School – Sunday, July 21
*Tryouts will take from 8:30-10:30 and 1:30-3:30. After decisions are made regarding varsity, the JV players will continue to practice for single sessions on Thursday and Friday at a time to be determined by Kevin Tryon. The varsity will play a scrimmage on Thursday the 22nd and then head down the shore for team bonding. We will return on Saturday morning.
