The arts are an integral part of each Haverford School boy's education.

The arts at Haverford lead to self discovery and expression. Haverford students work side-by-side with faculty who are practicing artists themselves. We host master classes and visiting artists, hold an annual Arts Festival, study at museums and galleries, and publish an arts and literary magazine, Pegasus, which was recently granted a gold medal by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

Our arts program inspires creative thought that transcends disciplines.

Empathy, Connection, Communication

The Best for Boys speaker series is an annual forum for the educational experts at The Haverford School to discuss the practices that help foster the social, emotional, and academic growth of young boys.

Darren Hengst, the Grace and Mahlon Buck Chair in Performing Arts, recently gave a Best for Boys presentation titled "Performing Arts—Empathy, Connection, Communication."
