Taking Lessons
Lessons
Enrollment in private instrumental music lessons is an agreement that spans 28 lessons over an academic year. Lessons will be offered in person or on Zoom for the entire year.
- Fall Semester – September (begins the week of Sept. 12) to January 13, totaling 14 lessons
- Spring Semester – January (begins the week of Jan. 23) through May, totaling 14 lessons
- Summer Semester – June through August, totaling 10 lessons
- Students may enroll in the 6 lesson package at any point during the year. This is also a great option if a student wants to bridge the gap between Fall, Spring or Summer Semesters without pause in instruction.
Specific days and times of lessons will be determined according to mutual availability between your son and his instructor. If the fourteenth lesson is reached in either the Fall or Spring semesters early in the term period, additional lessons may be requested by mutual agreement with the parent and private teacher. All inquiries in this instance should go to Brian Adamczyk, who will make all efforts to accommodate the request.

Payment options
Registration and payment must be completed and received prior to the beginning of instruction. Conservatory teachers become booked quickly once the semester begins, so we encourage early action to ensure a lesson slot.
Students may not begin private lessons until the Business Office has received payment in full. Please do not make separate arrangements or verbal agreements with the instrumental teacher regarding this policy.
Absence Policy
The absence policy for music lessons is as follows:
Music instructors are required to makeup one excused student absence, one school-related student absence (i.e. snow day or field trip), and any teacher absences that may occur throughout the year.
A student must give 24 hours notice of any absence, or it will be considered unexcused, except in the case of emergency. In the event of sickness, the instructor must be notified at home by 7 a.m. on the day of the lesson.
