We aim to make a Haverford School education available to all remarkable boys, regardless of their financial resources. We offer flexible payment plans and award more than $10 million annually in need-based financial aid.
The Haverford School Tuition Assistance program is designed to make a Haverford School education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. The Haverford School is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

Please note that Haverford no longer uses School and Student Services for tuition assistance.
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application can typically take less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.
Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as The Haverford School may require you to upload additional tax documentation.
The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is December 1, 2024.
Support: If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@claritytuition.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

Step 1: Apply to The Haverford School
- Completing the admissions application begins our formal dialogue to decide if Haverford is the right fit for your son. Please apply online ($60 fee). Note: current families do not need to re-apply for admission.
- Check the box on the application indicating you would like to apply for tuition assistance. Grants are awarded solely on the basis of a family’s financial need and subsequent to your son’s acceptance and enrollment.
Step 2: Complete the Tuition Assistance Application for 2025–26
- Go to the Clarity website:

Click "Continue Application" from your portal homepage to begin or continue your application.
- Complete your biographical information. Add applying students and indicate to which schools you're applying.
- Sign and submit a Form 4506-C to give Clarity permission to pull your prior year tax returns. This means you won't need to upload any of them yourself!
- Complete your financial information.
NOTE: The responsive application will shift the questions you see based on your answers, kind of like TurboTax.
