Sports Academy: Crew
The Sports Academy – Rowing Camp is a day camp where participants will be learning and improving technique, experience different training methods, and go over the proper preparation needed to be successful in the sport of rowing.
Our programming will accommodate both the novice and experienced athletes, and will enhance your son's technical and fundamental skills. More importantly, our staff will provide a fun experience and leave your rower wanting more!
Our staff will evaluate and place participants in groups based on age, experience, and ability. This camp is for both boys and girls, open to the public, and for ages 12 and up. Each day the camp starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. Athletes should bring lunch. Campers will experience both land and river activities with 2 sessions each day, morning and afternoon.
Rowing Camp is held at The Haverford School's state of the art facility in Conshohocken. Haverford has some of the best equipment in the country and opportunities to do both sculling and sweep rowing.
Athletes must be able to swim. If there are any questions about swimming requirements, please reach out to the camp director. A waiver is required for each participant.
