Lower School writers earn awards in 45th Gladwyne Library League Junior Author Contest

Students from nine local schools submitted entries for The Gladwyne Library League's 45th Annual Junior Author Contest. First- through fifth-graders competed in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The Haverford School writers won 22 awards – 10 nonfiction, nine fiction, and three poetry! Each winner received a book supplied by Children's Book World in Haverford and will have their work bound and housed in the Gladwyne Free Library.


First-grade winners
