Feb. 20: Dr. Maya Jasanoff presents 30th annual David R. Parker Memorial History Lecture

Renowned historian, author, and Harvard University professor Dr. Maya Jasanoff will present “Ancestors: Where do we come from and why do we care?” at The Haverford School on Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Centennial Hall. Her presentation is free and open to the public and will include a book signing of The Dawn Watch: Joseph Conrad in a Global World and Liberty’s Exiles: American Loyalists in the Revolutionary World

Dr. Jasanoff is the Coolidge Professor of History at Harvard University. Her presentation at the 30th annual Davis R. Parker Memorial Lecture, an endowed lecture series at The Haverford School, will focus on ancestry and human inheritance. Past Davis R. Parker Memorial Lecture speakers include Dr. Drew Gilpin Faust, Philip Caputo, Dr. Daniel Ellsberg, and others.
