The Haverford School lacrosse program will host the inaugural #10VE Lacrosse Celebration fundraiser and clinic on Saturday, May 4 on Sabol Field. All fundraising proceeds will go to the School’s James K. “Kip” Taviano ’13 Scholarship Fund, which was established in 2016 in memory of Kip.
Haverford School lacrosse players and coaches will lead a clinic for youth lacrosse players between kindergarten and sixth grade beginning at 9 a.m. Kip’s childhood lacrosse team, Brandywine Youth Club, will then face off against Kennett/Unionville at 11 a.m. The Haverford School varsity team will then take the field against Germantown Academy at 2 p.m.
Boys interested in attending the clinic can sign up at 10ve.net.
About The James K. “Kip” Taviano ’13 Scholarship Fund
Established in 2016 by the family, classmates, teammates, and their parents, coaches, teachers, neighbors, and friends of James “Kip” Taviano ’13 in his loving memory, this fund provides tuition assistance to a student of need who would otherwise note be able to attend The Haverford School, with preference for a deserving student-athlete who exhibits strong character, friendship, citizenship, and sportsmanship in all that he does, just as Kip demonstrated in his life.
