The Haverford School has launched virtual Conservatory lessons in an effort to keep music an integral part of students' lives through the summer months. Lessons are offered in piano, violin and viola, cello, guitar, woodwind, brass, percussion and drums, voice, and trumpet.
"In these unprecedented and uncertain times, many educational organizations have turned to the technology and reliability of online instruction," said Conservatory Director Brian Adamczyk. "The private teaching faculty at the Haverford Conservatory has been no exception. While teaching a private music lesson is intimate and nuanced, there are many benefits that can still be acquired and maintained virtually. Above all, weekly, continued online instruction within the Conservatory has ensured the progress, discipline, and motivation for all of the students to improve on their given instrument."
The Haverford Conservatory aims to inspire students and instill within them a love of music. The program provide instruction to students of all ages and abilities to create a balanced, comprehensive instrumental experience.
