Steve Sabol '60 elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame

The stories, footage and vision produced by Steve Sabol will last forever. Now his legacy will, too.

Sabol will be included in the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Centennial class to be inducted this summer, albeit posthumously. The longtime NFL Films steward died in 2012 at the age of 69 following brain cancer.

Sabol's father, Ed, who he will join in the Hall of Fame, founded NFL Films in 1962. Together, they will become the third father-son combo to reach Canton (Art and Dan Rooney, Tim and Wellington Mara are the others).
