Haverford School librarian presents on panel serving Indian independent schools

Lisa Snyder, Director of Information Services, organized a panel presentation to The Delhi Public School Society. The presentation focused on libraries and library services at independent schools, with a specific focus on ways libraries serve communities through curriculum, programming, and resource distribution.

Snyder was joined by colleagues at the Episcopal Academy, Germantown Friends School, and Abington Friends School. The panel spoke to approximately 300 librarians and school administrators from 150 different independent schools in India.

“This was a great opportunity for us to strengthen our connection with these librarians and school administrators, while also providing targeted professional development in library services,” said Snyder.

In August, science department head Dr. Daniel Goduti and Upper School science teacher Kara Cleffi presented to teachers and administrators from The Delhi Public School Society about science instruction at the Upper School level.
