Form II Prepares for Upper School Chemistry
In Andrew Grossman’s Form II science, the boys practice skills they will use in their upper school laboratory-based science courses.
An upper school laboratory lesson was recently adapted for middle school. Boys were encouraged to experiment with chemical reactions. Using skills of observation, measurement, and assessment, boys tested their knowledge to identify the chemicals responsible for different reactions happening in plastic bags.
The lab is just one in a series that explores the important role of water molecules in chemical reactions.
