Why do you give to The Haverford Fund?
We asked a few parents why they give to The Haverford Fund.
Here’s what they had to say:
We are honored to be Haverford School parents
and contribute to The Haverford Fund. We make a gift every year to show
our appreciation for and commitment to the School’s extraordinary faculty and
staff. In addition to giving our son an outstanding education, they are
teaching him values that will serve him well in the years ahead and as an adult.

Throughout our boys’ years at The Haverford School, we
have seen teachers, coaches, and staff consistently and earnestly go above and
beyond to ensure they get every ounce of benefit from their Haverford
experience. Supporting The Haverford Fund every year is one of the ways we
reciprocate this generosity of spirit.
– Denise and Rob Desatnick P’11, ’16
We support the Haverford Fund because the
benefits to our son of a Haverford education are invaluable. The costs,
however, are easily calculable, and are not covered by tuition alone. In
a world of declining standards — educational, social, and behavioral —Haverford
offers a superior educational alternative, which both supports and enhances the
academic and moral values, as well as the code of conduct, we wish to instill
in our son and in our family. The Haverford teachers and staff become
parents’ partners in raising boys with a commitment to honesty, integrity,
dignity, and self-reliance.

Zemble and Philip Rosenzweig P’25
I make a gift to The Haverford Fund each year to honor past generations of alumni, to acknowledge lifelong gifts I received as a Haverford student, and to provide resources to educate future generations, including my son, who is a current student.
