Why do you give to The Haverford Fund?
We asked a few alumni, parents, faculty, and friends why they give to The Haverford Fund.
Here's what they had to say:
We give to The Haverford Fund because we believe in the mission of The
Haverford School and because, across the board, we are impressed with
the administration, staff and, perhaps most importantly, with the
School’s faculty.
– Michael and Cathy Curry P'13
We are glad to give back and support the School and faculty that provide
so much for our boys. When the boys walk through those doors every day,
it is an opportunity for them to experience something new and strive to
be the best that they can be as individuals. In each school division,
the boys are challenged and enriched by the amazing faculty and their
passion for teaching boys. Whether it is exposure to academics, sports,
or the arts, we support every opportunity that our boys have at
Haverford. Attending The Haverford School is a privilege that we can’t
afford not to support.
– Jim and Jackie Tricolli P'16, '17
When asked why we give to The Haverford Fund our initial response is,
‘Why wouldn’t we?’ The combination of the outstanding education our sons
are receiving and the satisfaction we experience as a family as part of
the Haverford community make our yearly donation a no-brainer.
– Taine and Jen Pechet P'15, '17
Haverford teachers and administrators genuinely care about our boys
being the best thinkers and people they can be, challenging and
supporting them along the way. That combination of excellent academics,
coaching and kindness is truly rare and precious. What better way to
acknowledge these teachers and administrators than through contributing
to The Haverford Fund?
– Ross and Diane Collins P'13, '21
I give annually to The Haverford Fund because I believe in the mission
and purpose of the School. I benefit from the support of our students,
their parents, and the board and I believe this is another way I can
show my support for the Haverford community.
– Tom Trocano, Science Department Chair
My annual contribution is insurance that the standard of excellence The
Haverford School provides will be available for the next generation of
students.
– Mark Petrone, Teacher, Physical Education
