MLK Day of Service

  • Lower School MLK Day of Service

Join us Monday, Jan. 16, 9-11:30 a.m., to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. with a Day of Service. With all the activities going on, we need helping hands! We have a particular need for well-cooked turkeys and homemade mashed potatoes for the boys to assemble the seniors’ meals. Please contact Laurel Sarian for more info about donating turkey and potatoes. Please download, review, and return the volunteer form indicating how you would like to help. Contact Sandy Lazovitz-Pressman with any questions.

  • Middle School MLK Caring Community Carnival Reminder

The 11th Annual Caring Community Carnival – Sunday, Jan. 15 from 1:30-5 p.m. – is quickly approaching and we need your help. The Haverford School, along with Agnes Irwin and Baldwin, is sponsoring a carnival for children with disabilities. There will be more than 30 booths, games, and activities run by students and supported by parents. This event is the primary service opportunity for the Middle School, and both student and parent volunteers are still needed. Please download the registration form or contact Jeanne Holeman at 610-580-8119 orjeanne.holeman@verizon.net for additional information.
