Haverford Squash wins 1st Inter-Ac Match vs. Penn Charter (Squash - V)

Haverford 8, Penn Charter 1 Haverford picked up their first Inter-Ac win of the season against Penn Charter by a score of 8 to 1. Ian Rothweiler (#2), Jay Losty (#3), Drew Field (#4), Justin Shah (#7), and Henry Ortmeyer (#9) all played to straight game wins. Haverford's record is now 3-0.

Haverford School midfielder Brooks is first Richmond lacrosse recruit (Lacrosse - V)

University of Richmond Spiders head men’s lacrosse coach Dan Chemotti announced the signing of his first recruit Dec. 1. Haverford School midfielder Timmy Brooks will be eligible to play for the Spiders beginning in the 2013-14 season when Richmond begins its varsity lacrosse program. More>

Haverford School Squash defeats Conestoga (Squash - V)

Haverford School 8, Conestoga 1 The Haverford Squash team won their second match of the season today with an 8 to 1 win over Conestoga. The Fords squad was led by captain Drew Field playing quality squash at the number 1 spot in a loss. Dylan Henderson came back from being 2 games down to beat his opponent at the number 2 spot. Justin Shah (#3), Timmy Brooks (#5), and Jimmy Tricolli (#7) all had convincing wins. This victory brings the Varsity Squash team's record to 2 wins and 0 losses.

Ground broken for rowing center in Conshohocken (Crew (Fall) - V, Crew (Spring) - V)

The Conshohocken Rowing Center, which will be located on a 100-foot stretch of land along the Schuylkill River that is owned by the borough, will serve as both a home and practice facility for The Haverford School and Malvern Prep and as a community center for residents who wish to gain access to the river for rowing and kayaking.
