Freshman L.J. Barlow, Haverford School’s superb 182-pounder, came within a whisker of winning a prep state title Saturday, but fell, 3-1, in overtime of the final against Wyoming Seminary’s Connor Wasson at Episcopal Academy.

Ed Barnard '09 (Dickinson) and Will Nelligan '11 (Gettysburg) finished first and sixth, respectively, in the men's 200 breaststroke at the 19th annual Centennial Conference Swimming Championships, held Feb. 17-19 at Gettysburg College.

The Haverford School will be hosting the 4th Annual “Checking for Cancer” Lacrosse Invitational on Saturday, April 14. The day will feature a full slate of high school varsity boys and girls games with numerous nationally ranked boys’ teams in the mix. More>

Henry Fairfax, who led the Fords to their last Inter-Ac basketball championship in 1999 and is the school’s all-time leading scorer, coached a young squad to a very successful season. He is also the Director of Admissions at Haverford School. More>

EA hoopsters shock Fords (Basketball - V)

Episcopal Academy (7-15, 1-8) earned its first Inter-Ac win of the season Feb. 7 with a 63-59 win against host Haverford School. EA was trailing 45-40 after three quarters. Leading scorers for Haverford were Semjai Reed (17) and Zach Thomas (14).
