The Haverford School supports breast cancer research and treatment
October 19, 2012
Haverford School students, faculty, and staff joined the national effort for breast cancer awareness, research, and treatment programs by raising $2,258.45 for Lee National Denim Day on Oct. 5. Funds raised benefit the Women’s Cancer Programs of EIF (Entertainment Industry Foundation) and research for all cancers. Participants who contributed to the cause were allowed to forego the School’s usual dress code and wear jeans to school for the day.
