“Checking for Cancer: How to Save Your Life”

As a follow up to the Checking for Cancer lacrosse tournament and a “thank you” for CFC’s continued support of HUP, David J. Vaughn, M.D., oncologist and professor at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania presented “Checking for Cancer: How to Save Your Life” on April 18 for the juniors and seniors at The Haverford School. He was accompanied by Barbara Zoltick, R.N., M.S.N., from the LIVESTRONG Cancer Survivorship Program. The program was very informative (and age appropriate), explaining male cancers, early detection, prevention, and good lifestyle choices.
