    Junior kindergarten parents and their sons gathered for a Valentine’s Kindness Celebration to enjoy a continental breakfast while making 100 lunches and valentines for residents at the Life Center of Eastern Delaware County.

    Middle School students from Agnes Irwin, Baldwin, and Haverford School hosted a carnival for children with developmental and physical disabilities as part of the national Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

    IV Former Jake Cohen, along with Student Service Board, organized the ninth all-school annual toy collection for children under 10 years of age for the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots campaign that benefits needy children.

  • Third-graders hold toy sale for St. Barnabas

    Third-graders held a gently used toy sale Dec. 13 for their service learning project. They brought in toys, books, board games, and more, and sold the items to Lower School students, faculty, and staff. The boys priced everything and raised $1,241.43. They donated the money to St. Barnabas, a shelter for homeless mothers and children.

    The Haverford School-Episcopal Academy-Agnes Irwin Can Drive, an annual part of EA Day activities, kicked off with an assembly on Nov. 7 and ran through Nov. 21.

    Haverford School students, faculty, and staff joined the national effort for breast cancer research and treatment by raising $2,200 for Lee National Denim Day on Friday, Oct. 7.

    IV Former (sophomore) Bryan Rodriguez is a Student Service Board member for the second consecutive year. He has contributed to a number of worthwhile School projects, notably Home Run Derby and AIDS Walk. He also went on a field trip to Costa Rica for two weeks, and he tutors middle school children.
