Middle School

In the Middle School, every grade selects a project that they focus on for the school year. There are numerous clothing and food drives, and a toy drive and winter clothing drive around the winter holidays. There are two major service projects where all three grades work together.

The Caring Community Carnival

Caring Community Carnival held in January during the weekend of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Haverford hosts the carnival for children with developmental and physical disabilities who are served by Variety – The Children’s Charity. The Carnival is a joint project with the Middle School students at The Agnes Irwin School and The Baldwin School.

Morning of Service

Held every Spring, the Morning of Service is a day when our Middle School students pull on their gloves and go to work cleaning, pulling weeds, and beautifying the community. Some service projects are held on campus, while others take place across the area at places like The Willows, Main Line Art Center, Womenspace, and Riverbend Environmental Education Center.
