The boys’ Inter-Academic League was founded in 1887 and is currently comprised of Chestnut Hill Academy, Episcopal Academy, The Haverford School, Germantown Academy, Malvern Prep, and Penn Charter. The boys’ Inter-Ac offers interscholastic competition at the varsity and junior varsity level in 11 sports. The Heyward Cup is awarded annually to the school that compiles the best composite results in the league standings in all 11 sports.
