I am very pleased that you are interested in learning more about The Haverford School. An independent day school for boys, we are a unique school in many ways. We understand boys and create an environment where they can thrive. We provide what boys need to develop and explore their talents to the fullest extent, in an atmosphere filled with trust, respect, warmth, care, and integrity.
At some point during the interview process, or in my interactions with prospective families and community members considering The Haverford School, I often confess that “I stumbled on this place in the summer of 1995.” At the time, I did not know that a chance meeting with a passionate teacher and coach from Haverford at a community playground would alter the course of my life. Today, I am proud to be an alumnus who has benefited from The Haverford School’s promise of “preparing boys for life.” We invite your son to experience his own journey at Haverford.

The application process begins in October for the following entry year. The first step is to send in the application, and we encourage you to apply early. Once we have received your application, we will proceed with further steps in the admissions process.
