Building Character

An important part of a boy’s education is giving him redirection when his actions do not align with the school’s values and/or his own values. Because we want our boys to grow into caring young men of the community, we take an intentional approach to building character. We continually refer to the Essential Qualities of a Haverford School student.

It is our hope to have each boy become self-directed in achieving these qualities. Mr. Brown, as Dean of Students in the Lower School, works closely with students, homeroom teachers, and parents to best support the boys.
